Our "first" baby sister turned 21 over Memorial Weekend.

I'm still not quite sure how that happened, but it did.

REPOSTING : Our New Friend Chuck

OK - so it works, I'm going to re-post :)

A few weekends ago, Kas came to town with her friend Megan. Since we had already promised Jacks we could go to Chuck E. Cheese, we decided to take them with us. NONE of us, with the exception of Jacks had ever been to "the Cheese" before, and I'm pretty sure we had as much fun as he did!

This is what happens when you decide you must have a beer to bear it...Brad should have thought twice before setting it right next to Jacks playing skiball...hmmmm....man down.

I'm pretty sure Chuck is a new friend for special treats :)

This picture was taken last week, I don't even remember what day it was. The bummer is, this picture does it ZERO justice. Becuase it was the brightest rainbow I have ever seen. It was a double rainbow. It was the first rainbow Jacks claims to have ever seen. Therefore, it deserved a picture...and it doesn't even compare to real life.

I will get the other pictures up again...at least that's my plan! :)

Hmph.....and hmph.

So - nope, my blog is NOT working. Not working at all. I have even Google stumped. GOOGLE, people.

She's Coming.....

Kara moves in tomorrow...and we are SO excited. Kasey moved in to Jess' house on Thursday. Do you know what that means? ALL FOUR Peterson girls will be living within about 6 blocks of each other. ALL SUMMER. Watch out world...

And just because I haven't shown you before...

We put gymnastic rings up in our basement for Jacks in the winter to burn off some energy. Needless to say, he's now an expert.

Maybe Next Year

This is Jacks...LONGING to be playing soccer with the other 500 kids every Monday night behind our house...too bad you have to be four to join....maybe next year.

Circle de Mayo

This year for my birthday, Brad and I decided to play hooky (you know..PTO style) and go to the Twins game. I'm not going to lie...it was COOOOLD. I hadn't yet been to Target Field though, so we did a ton of walking around which was just as fun!

I took Brad's picture with just the grass behind him...because he claims this is eventually what our yard will look like. Sigh...the life of marrying a baseball player...

And this is me...true Rachel style...with a blanket. (Just ask Gary Pankake!)

And on every birthday (OK, not every birthday....I was preggers last year) I take a shot of Patron. I blame the love of tequila on my holiday birthday!


This year it just happened to come in the classiest of glasses...a plastic Twins cup. Oh yeah - and a reminder for next year...they do NOT chill anything, even if you ask! :)

And why the post title?

I was trying to think of a clever sign to bring to the game to get "Circled by Bert" so Jess came up with the phrase "Circle de Mayo - it's my Birthday!" Now if I would have remembered to actually MAKE the sign, it would have been sweet. HA. Next year......next year.
