Packing Party

So, the packing party has officially begun. Taking everything off the walls, patching holes, filling boxes...you name it, we've finally started it. With no time to spare I may add. Even though we feel like we've been living out of boxes for the last two years, we still have a ways to go, and about 10 days to get it done!

Since Jacks is such a climber we have to keep all boxes stashed in a closet. Brad has officially given up his parking spot in the garage for box storage as well!

It's going to be a busy couple of weeks, but we feel so much better now that we had time to start the process!!

Ah haaa...my HOOK!

Jack is constantly running around saying "AH HAAAA! MY HOOK!" whenever he finds a stray hanger. I was in Target the other day, and a girl was wearing a pirate hat around to be funny in the dollar section, and I knew I had to get it for Jacks. He loved it, and thinks he looks JUST like Captain Hook now.

When Grandma Sandy came over on Saturday, she put the hat on and he said "Grandma, I'm scared of Pirates." Ha. Apparently only HE looks good in the hat!?

Day at the Lake

Saturday afternoon we made an impromptu visit to Becky's to hang out at the lake. It was the perfect day!

Jack had just been asking a couple of days before if we could go fishing, so when Becky pulled out the fishing rods for Jacks and Aves, it was a HIT for sure.

Brad took Jacks tubing for the first time. Well - the first time he stayed on for more than 20 seconds I should say. He had so much fun!

His legs didn't however. Brad said he had them tucked under the tube, and they got so red! That's what our albino skin will do to ya! We had such a great day, even if we all did come home with chigger bites :( Nothing a little Benadryl won't take care of!

House...check!

When you walk in our house, this is what you'll see....

WE GOT OUR HOUSE! YAY! 22 days until we move.
House...Check! Packing....hmmmmm, not so much.

Missed the Memo...

Today, I went out to lunch with the girls.

Apparently I missed the memo that said we were going to dress like an American Flag!

16 Weeks

So - here I am - 16 weeks pregnant with Baby.

To clarity a few questions I got last weekend, and to please spare any comments that are similar:

Yes, I know when my due date is. It really is November 23.
No, I am not due in August.
Yes, I'm sure there's only one baby in there.

If anyone remembers what I looked like when I was pregnant with Jacks, I just may possibly be the biggest pregnant woman ever. Besides the ones that give birth to 6 babies at a time.
Just one baby, lots of Mama. Ahhhhh, the joys :)

Last but not least

KC, the baby, graduated last weekend. Although the day was cold, the party was still fun. We're so proud of her, and especially excited that she's done with school since she's our part-time nanny for the summer!!

Here she is giving her valedictorian speech.

I Heart These Girls

Last weekend, we had a girls weekend in Mankato. It, as always, was one of the best weekends. We have officially known each other for 10 years, and instead of calling it a reunion, we had to call it an Anniversary, since we try to see each other as often as we can.

I mean, come on - let's be honest...any girls that can stay friends after looking like THIS pretty much have no choice but to stay friends, right??

What would I do without you, girls....?

Honey, honey.....Come and Dance with Me

Jack has become quite the little dancer....and prefers to do it with someone. And for me, it doesn't get much better than this...my two favorite guys dancing to my favorite music man :) (Yes, that's Dave on TV)

The best part? Jack can actually sing about 5 DMB songs. Ahhh, music to my ears!

Meeting Baby D....

Jacks had been looking forward to this for DAYS. With all of the baby talk around our house...it's no wonder he was excited to have a baby around. Jack was sleeping when I brought Gina and Donovan over, but it definitely didn't take him long to snuggle up to the babe! He wanted to hold him, kiss him, love him up. And how could you not...this baby is ADORABLE.

The little grad...

Little Man Tate graduated from Pre-school last Friday. Since B and I had the day off, the three of us went, and he was SO CUTE. Look at those little hats!! This little man steals my heart, and I can't believe he's already going to be in kindergarten. It seriously blows my mind. Pretty soon it will be Jacks....Oh God, I can't even think about it :)

I just realized I posted this under Brad...I was uploading pictures and apparently still signed in as him :) I can't give him for actually posting anything! ha.
