Not Amused

Jacks wanted to have the kids over during the football game, so we had Beckers and Aves over. Doesn't Beckett look like he's thoroughly enjoying the book I was reading to them!?

Little Boyfriend

Last week, I had a little baby girl....this week, I feel like my baby is enormous....

Little Parker is so tiny (he even looks bigger in this picture than he really is) that Finley seems HUGE!!

But as you can tell from this picture, she's lovin' her little boyfriend!

Fin's Room!

This post is MUCH overdue. Everyone has been asking to see Fin's room....so here it is!!

I initially took so long because I wanted to show everyone her newborn photo session AFTER our holiday cards went out, and since they just went out last week, I can finally show them off!

It was so much fun to put a girl's room together. I had much help from my sister, but we really enjoyed doing it! The inspiration was the quilt my Mom made for Finley, which could not have turned out prettier if you ask me!

I love this clothesline. I had seen the pettiskirt online and KNEW I had to have it for my little gal if she was a girl, so I actually ordered it the day we found out we were having a princess.
My sister's OH SO TALENTED friend Rachel made me the bloomers and Baby Sis shirt....

Jess found a gal that made the pants to match the whole ensemble, and then I used the leftover scraps from the quilt, some Baby Legs, and a Finley onesie to finish the line.

Isn't the quilt adorable?? I did not get the sewing gene from my Mom, that's for sure.

I had two shadowboxes on the dresser and one hadn't yet been filled, so when Jess had these suckers as party gifts for the kids from Avery's birthday, I knew exactly what I had to do with Fin's since she couldn't eat it anyway!

I have to admit I think this is my favorite room in the house. :)

Big Brother

Jacks is really getting a hang of this big brother thing. The other day he was dying to feed Finley, so I actually let him. It was one of those moments you take a little picture in your "Mommy bank" memory card.

First Pedi...

When we were snowed in at the farm, Kip gave Fin her first pedicure...

We had to hold those little toes in place!

Can't you just tell how thrilled she is!? I've already painted them again, they look so adorable hot pink!!

I will post more Christmas pictures later, but this one I had to get up right now. Since we were snowed in and even Christmas Eve service was cancelled this year, we all got dressed up for dinner at the farm. My Mom asked the kids to do a mini-program with some songs just like we used to do when I was a kid.

Little Smiles

Fin has been smiling for a couple of weeks, but for the life of me, I can NOT capture a picture of it.

This picture was taken the week before Christmas, so it's a pretty weak smile AND a bad angle, but it will have to do for now...

She did have a pretty fun visitor to look at...Angie was home for California, and it's been over a year since we've seen her!
